We are called to walk in his footsteps.

There are over 2,500,000 orphaned children in Uganda.

In Uganda, more than 2.5 million children have lost their parents and are on their own. These kids face tough times without the love and care of a family. They struggle to get basic things like food, education, and a stable life. The big number of orphaned children in Uganda shows that there is a real need to help them. Each child has a different story of sadness and strength. It's important to step up and make sure these children get the help and support they need to have a better tomorrow.

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11) It’s all about love! As a response to God’s great love for us – and how that love transforms our lives – we love others, and we also want them to experience God’s transforming love. God’s love for us isn’t abstract, it’s deeply practical. That why, when we go out into communities, we want to demonstrate a deeply practical love that ‘looks like something’.

We believe children don’t just need a handout, they need a hand up.

This statement underscores our philosophy at Children's Love Ministries . We are dedicated to providing more than just temporary assistance to children in need. Instead, we focus on offering support and opportunities that empower them to overcome challenges and build a better future for themselves. This approach emphasizes not just giving aid but also helping children rise above their circumstances with the support and resources they need to succeed.

Why we do things the way we do them

We have chosen to do things the way we do because we believe in the power of sustainable change. Our approach is rooted in the idea that lasting impact comes from empowering individuals and communities to create a better future for themselves. By focusing on education, skill development, and community engagement, we aim to address the root causes of challenges faced by orphaned children, rather than just providing temporary solutions. We strive to build a strong foundation of support that enables children to thrive independently in the long run. Our commitment to this approach reflects our belief in the transformative potential of empowerment and our dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Giving children a home.

By giving children a home, we provide them with a safe and caring environment where they can grow and flourish. Every child deserves a place where they feel loved and secure, a place that helps them learn and be happy. Having a home means more than just a roof over their heads—it means having a place where they belong and where they can dream big. Giving children a home is about giving them a chance to have a bright future full of hope and possibilities.

Children's Love Ministries typically accommodates an average of 30 children at the center simultaneously. Among them, some children are mere weeks or even days old, with the majority being under the age of 5. Our main objective is to rehabilitate each child and subsequently place them with a trusted family member or another responsible adult in a secure and affectionate home.
